Whether you are getting married, having a naming ceremony or planning an anniversary party, each ceremony that I write and officiate at is custom-made and like no other. And because Dancing Through Life Ceremonies delivers so much more than a ready-made, fill-in-the-blank script, you can get inspired, be creative and have fun honoring that special event in your life!
As your celebrant, my work involves translating
your story, experiences and feelings in a meaningful way, creating a ceremony
that says "you" from beginning to end. That means the most important aspect
of our relationship is open communication. Through one-on-one interviews
and ongoing consultations in person, by phone and by e-mail, I
focus on getting to know you and drawing out the special ingredients
— memorable stories, readings, traditions, music, cultural rituals,
customs, involving family and friends — to make your ceremony uniquely
yours.
With your input, I will write and edit your ceremony until you are completely satisfied, providing great hints and helpful resources along the way. While creating the ceremony is part of the adventure, guiding you and your guests through your joyous occasion is what makes the journey worthwhile. Additionally I will create cue sheets for your music, conduct a rehearsal if you desire and meet with you right before the ceremony to make sure everything is just right. After your event, I will provide you with a keepsake copy of your ceremony and will file any marriage-related documents for the wedding ceremonies that I perform.
My goal as a professional celebrant is to not just meet your expectations, but to exceed them in every way. I work from the heart to create and perform quality commissioned ceremonies that reflect you and your personality, your values, your ideas and your beliefs. Everyone will have heartfelt memories that will last a lifetime.
My fees — which are based upon the time and effort involved in researching, crafting and officiating at your one-of-a-kind ceremony, as well as the date and location of your ceremony — start at $300. A 50% deposit is required to hold your ceremony date and time, and additional fees may apply for travel expenses for destination events and other out-of-pocket expenses.
From the unusual to the traditional, from non-denominational and secular to spiritual and interfaith, the ceremonies and rituals that I help create are about celebrating life every step of the way.
